Qualified applicants are Colorado residents age 50 and over who are low-income or facing financial hardship and need help caring for a companion or service animal.

We assist with companion animals and service animals including dogs, cats, and other household pets. Each situation is reviewed individually.

No. Harley’s Hope does not provide reimbursement or issue funds directly to pet owners. If approved for veterinary assistance, approved funds are paid directly to the veterinary clinic, training facility, boarding facility, or other approved service provider after required documentation is received. You are responsible for any remaining balance not covered by Harley’s Hope’s award.
If approved for funding for veterinary assistance, the procedure must begin within 21 days of approval. We cannot and do not hold funding as we receive applications and inquiries on a daily basis.
