Volunteer or foster for pets and people in need
Harley's Hope is not a traditional animal shelter or rescue. We help pets stay with the people who already love them. Volunteers make that possible by supporting fundraising, administration, outreach, and short-term foster care.

Short-term foster care
Short-term fostering is a lifeline for older adults facing hospitalization, temporary housing challenges, or short-term crises. Foster families provide temporary care for pets while their owners work to get back on their feet.
Unlike traditional animal rescue fostering, these placements are temporary with a clear goal: reuniting the pet with their person as soon as safely possible.
Foster periods typically range from a few days to a few weeks, though some situations may require longer support.

We appreciate any fostering capacity you can offer. Short-term, emergency fostering is often needed and even occasional availability helps.
